1. Company Profile

WA Kaolin is an ASX-listed kaolin production company which holds the Wickepin Kaolin Project, 220km south-east of Perth, Western Australia. Our Wickepin Kaolin Project in WA is one of the largest kaolin resources in the world with a 644.5 million tonnes. Mineral Resource, including an Ore Reserve Estimate of 30.5 million tonnes of kaolinized granite. Commissioning of Stage 1 was completed in September 2022 and we are ramping up production towards the Stage 1 output of 200,000tpa. Stage 2 will see production increase to 400,000tpa.  We are supplying kaolin to fibreglass, ceramics, paint & coating, adhesive, cosmetic, agricultural, pharmaceutical, and etc.

2. Product Introduction

WA Kaolin’s primary resources form because of intense weathering of the basement granite to form a kaolinite rich saprolite horizon within the regolith profile of the area (in-situ primary deposit).

Low impurity levels: Fe2O3 - 0.20%; TiO2 - 0.30%; K2O - 0.30%

Low overburden

Processing requires no chemicals, due to high ore purity.

Exceptional purity bright/white clay suitable for all kaolin applications.

Hydrous Brightness ISO 89 and Calcined Brightness ISO 98.
